Beginning with a vibrant floral nose of lavender, violets, and calendula, on first sip the Alta Mesa wine is loaded with purple and blue fruit like fig, marionberry, and wild bramble berries. Texturally the wine is medium-medium full bodied with slightly rustic tannins that will be rewarded with a gentle decant.
 
Drink over the course of a meal or a few days and enjoy the transformation.
 
Fermented with native yeasts using 100% whole clusters. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
